Salinity is the driving force. Floral, ripe fruts, some minerality and not lacking citrus poise. Really wish I had visited this producer during the Sicilly trip.
60% Inzolia 40% Catarratto from vineyards in the Aeolian Islands, just off of Sicily. As the name suggests there's a saline, sea breeze freshness to this wine which compliments the lemon and peach flavours. Wonderful aromatics and a great match for most simple sea food dishes, salty cheeses, salty snacks but also fabulous on it's own.
